Mi especialización es en el campo de la simulación numérica de problemas de ingeniería. Principalmente me especializo en técnicas de aproximación de soluciones a ecuaciones diferenciales en derivadas parciales utilizando los siguientes métodos numéricos: métodos de elementos finitos, volúmenes finitos, diferencias finitas, etc; y la implementación y resolución de dichos métodos en entornos de computación de alto desempeño. Las principales aplicaciones a las que me oriento están relacionadas con la generación de energía por fuentes renovables (mayormente eólica) y el estudio de problemas acoplados multifísica: interacción fluido-estructura, deformación termomecánica, etc. *Information provided by the agent in SIGEVA
