La línea de trabajo se orienta a la exploración de políticas públicas, representaciones, prácticas e implicancias de la movilidad rural en perspectiva histórica, bajo el presupuesto de que constituye un elemento tanto del desarrollo sostenible como de -su contraparte- la desigualdad, la exclusión socioterritorial y la degradación ambiental. Puntualmente, aborda intervenciones públicas en torno a la infraestructura y los transportes y su impacto socioambiental en ámbitos rurales de la provincia de Buenos Aires durante la segunda mitad del siglo XX. La investigación se basa en un enfoque multidimensional, por lo que se aplican distintas estrategias de acuerdo al objeto de estudio, entre ellas, microanálisis, historia oral, comparación y análisis documental (mapas, fotografías, registros oficiales, prensa, etc.).
