Formación de grado en Bioquímica. Formación doctoral y posteriores proyectos de investigación en el área de microorganismos asociados a enfermedades transmitidas por alimentos. Principalmente, factores que influencian la virulencia, la supervivencia y la emergencia de cepas de E. coli productor de toxina Shiga; estrategias de biocontrol de patógenos; bacteriófagos portadores de genes codificantes de toxinas y de resistencia a antimicrobianos, calidad microbiológica del agua. Experiencia en técnicas microbiológicas para la detección, aislamiento y caracterización de bacterias y bacteriófagos, técnicas de biología molecular aplicadas a microorganismos (PCR convencional, PCR en tiempo real, RFLP, hibridación, clonado de genes, secuenciación genómica (NGS), etc.), y herramientas bioinformáticas. *Information provided by the agent in SIGEVALines of Investigation
