Mi desarrollo profesional se ha dado principalmente en el área de la Inmunología celular, con numerosas publicaciones en este campo. En los últimos 18 años me he dedicado al estudio de la etiología de las alergias respiratorias. Mi línea de trabajo se centra actualmente en el estudio de la modulación de desórdenes atópicos por infecciones. He comenzado una nueva línea de investigación basada en el desarrollo de vacunas terapéuticas para el tratamiento de atopías respiratorias
