Me he desempeñlado desde el año 1991, cuando accedi a mi primer experiencia de docencia e investigacion universitaria, a la enseñanza e investigación de la historia del siglo XX, basicamente en tres nucleos: En los primeros años la historia social de los trabajadores, en los años siguientes historia y debates teóricos sobre la nación y el nacionalismo y en la última década estuve más orientado a problemas de historia reciente.
